Abstract:

Given the goals of green chemistry, silica-coated magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) open up new avenue to introduce an amazing and efficient system for facilitating catalyst recovery in different organic reactions.1 The catalyst was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM).2 capability of this nanomagnetic solid acid catalyst in the one-pot three-components condensation reaction of phthalhydrazide 1 , aromatic aldehydes 2 and malo-nonitrile 3 are also described. Use of easy reaction, conditions and simple magnetically work-up, short reaction times one of the most important features of this catalyst for the economic synthesis of 1H-Pyrazolo[1,2-b]phthalazine-5,10-diones 4.3
