Abstract:

Background: Learning to master students requires activate and engage them in learning processes. The flipped learning method is continuously reviewed and evaluated through e-learning learning activities of students in the teaching process.the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use flipped teaching and students’ mastery learning in higher education centers based on e-learning intermediation. Methods: The research method was descriptive correlational. The statistical population consisted of all students of Mahallat Branch,Islamic Azad University(N=1280), in the year 2016-2017. Stratified sampling method was used to select respondents by KREJCIE & Morgan (n=297). The research tools include: 1. Flipped teaching questionnaire 2. Students’ mastery learning in higher education 3. Electronic learning use Questionnaire. Descriptive statistics (mean and percent) and inferential statistics (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation test, stepwise multiple regression analysis, and structural equation model) were used to analyze the data. Results: Overall, the results of the research showed that flipped teaching (flexibility of the learning environment, student orientation, double-sided interaction , classroom homework, deep study of out-of-class content)with students’ mastery learning (P<0.05). Using e-learning mediates the relationship between flipped teaching and students’ mastery learning (P<0.05).Conclusion: Findings of this research showed that students’ mastery learning is influenced by the flipped learning approach which is important through e-learning.
