Water Governance as an interdisciplinary approach in natural resources

In the present study, it is intended to provide an overview of approaches related to water governance from different perspectives. Therefore, an attempt was made to briefly express concepts from economic approaches, political economy, political approach, social approach, water diplomacy approach, public management approach, institutional economics approach. The results of these approaches show that we should have an interdisciplinary approach to water governance more than before so that we can successfully complete the discussion of water resources management in Iran with the help of all disciplines. Having diverse approaches, especially sociological approaches to the issue of water, helps us to better understand the issue of water away from technical and structural perspectives, and to make more accurate policies at the macro, middle and micro levels.
