Abstract:

This research was conducted aimed at reviewing the influence of time management upon job performance and job satisfaction of the employees. The research method was correlational and the statistical population of the research includes the male and female employees of an organization in Tehran city out of which ۲۷۰ employees were elected through the convenience sampling. The research tools include the time management questionnaire, job performance questionnaire and job satisfaction questionnaire. The gathered data were analyzed through the structural equation modeling by the means of AMOS software.The results arising from structural equation modeling indicated that the time management is influential upon the job satisfaction. Other result indicated the direct effectiveness of the time management upon the employees’ job performance as well. Therefore, the attention of policymakers, planners and directors of the organizations and companies to the key requirements of the employees such as salary and benefits increase, job security, promotions and a fair evaluation can play an important role in increase of job satisfaction and job life quality of the individuals.
