the effect of surfactant and nano particle on asphaltene precipitation onset

in this work the effect of various surfactants such as linear alkyl benzen sulphonate LABS as anionic surfactant tetradecyl trimthylammonium bromide TTAB as cationic type and ethoxylated dodecyl alcohol 2,3,4,5.5 and 7 mole ethoxylated as non-ionic surfactant as well as nano-tetraphenyl porphyrin TPP on stabilization of asphaltene emulsion were studied nano-TPP was synthesized once by water addition using ultrasound and other by ethanol addition using microwaves. it was shown that p-p interaction between asphaltene molecules and nanoporphyrin, as well as hydrogen bond formations with surfactants molecules have the main effects on asphaltene emulsion stability.
