The research of cultural status staff and them families in Ardebil Regional Water Company abstract

The study of staff culture and cultural vulnerability and understand the causes and consequences is very important. This makes the appropriate steps in order to make changes and prevention of failure and a drop in productivity to be taken. Culturally appropriate situation is a necessary condition for effective performance in organizations. This study was performed aimed to investigate the cultural status of staff and their families Ardabil Regional Water Company. The research method is survey. The study population consisted of all busy staff in Ardabil Regional Water Company and their families (spouses) in 2014. In this study, using simple random sampling method (based on a random numbers table) sample size were determined of 200 employees and their families (100 employees and 100 their spouses). Standardized questionnaires were used to collect information and also were used developed by the researchers questionnaires and at the end of the data collected was analyzed using SPSS software. The main findings of this study showed that among the 26 index and possible cultural damage and studied Distrust of colleagues, gossip, neglect the correct use of public funds, not belonging to the Regional Water Company and its mission, jealousy in administrative environment, and local ethnic prejudice, lack of willingness to engage in communal prayer, of spiritual motivation duty, dissatisfaction with the status quo and high expectations, priority to personal interests in positions with low respect to subordinate or service personnel, lack of intimacy between managers and subordinates, flattery and dishonesty with superiors, absenteeism behind each other and person-centered affairs, Had higher scores of staff. Also employees between cultural activities, had lower scores in participation of sports programs, family relationship with colleagues, participate in recreational camps (group or family). This study showed that practical commitment to Islamic beliefs is high among staff and between their spouses and from this perspective of employees and their families are in good condition. Employees showed of responsibility the situation acceptable. The results was normal but significant of the study on the situation of family functioning and quality of life for employees and family status. Staff and spouses respectively the hierarchy of values, social values, religious, theoretical, economic, political and artistic. The spouses also to the value of religious, social, theoretical, economic, political and art. also Staff the higher of average performance in the Quran ceremony, ritual congregational prayer, Friday Prayers, sports programs and studies, and the low use of social networks and had satellite. The results showed that spouses employees in between cultural activities, was scores and lower performance only cultural and religious meetings in the office, Quranic ceremonies and family relationships with colleagues.
