A Method for Estimating Surface Tension of Binary Mixtures Containing Cyclohexane and Cyclic Ethers

By applying corresponding states method, new reduced coordinates are proposed for estimating the surface tension of mixtures of cyclohexane with cyclic ethers. The relationship between these coordinates has a linear form. With this relationship, the calculated values of surface tension at two different temperatures are in excellent agreement with the experimental ones. The percentage of absolute average deviation (AAD%) for the whole data, which are ۴۸, is ۰.۷۲%. Organic mixtures have variety of remarkable applications and they are really considerable with wide uses in chemical industries, therefore this method is a proper suggestion for applying in these industries
