Abstract:
EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) as an adjuvant setting for EGFR-mutant SCLC is considered with EGFR-activating mutations to acquire resistance in about ۵% of patients through their treatment (Yu et al. ۲۰۱۳; Krohn et al. ۲۰۱۴). However, due to EGFR-TKI-resistance, the efficacy of treatment outcome is poor and limited (Garnett et al. ۲۰۱۲). In the present study, bioinformatics strategies were used to investigate the molecular basis and potential therapeutic strategies of EGFR-TKI-resistance in SCLC to the identification of key genes and their roles in novel treatment targets.
