Abstract:

Introduction and Objectives Using appropriate shoes in people is very important. In general, various reasons can cause pain. It should be noted that the use of unsuitable shoes is one of the most important criteria for pain occurrence. The aim of the present review manuscript was to evaluate the effects of shoe mileage on walking and running mechanics. Materials and methods Using the keywords of kinetic, shoe mileage, ground reaction force, electromyography, kinematic, and shoes and by searching databases such as PubMed, PEDro, Science Direct, Springer, Ovid, ProQuest, Cochrane Library, Scopus, Google Scholar; we selected the articles between ۲۰۰۰ and ۲۰۱۹. ResultsIn the present study, we used only manuscripts that were done on shoes mileage. Therefore, out of ۳۰ articles obtained, only ۱۲ of these articles were used. ConclusionUsing of these shoes may be increase the rate of injuries during walking and running. This may be due to increased loading rate values while using these shoes.
