Abstract:

In order to study the effects of drought stress, fertilizer and salicylic acid on some traits of coriander a study was conducted in under different irrigation intervals, two field experiments were conducted as split-factorial based on randomized complete block design with three replicates at the experimental field in Kangavar, Kermanshah province, Iran, in ۲۰۱۴ and ۲۰۱۵. Treatments were three irrigation intervals (irrigation after ۶۰, ۹۰ and ۱۲۰ mm evaporation from class A pan) and combination of fertilization (control, Urea ۱۰۰ kg ha-۱, Nitrokara (bio-fertilizer), and ۵۰% Urea + Nitrokara) and Salicylic acid (۰ and ۱ mM)that were allocated to the main and sub-plots, respectively. The results showed that basal leaf, longest leaf angle relative to stem, relative water content (RWC) and grain yield of coriander were reduced and root length enhanced with increasing irrigation intervals. However, all of the nitrogen fertilizers, especially combined application of ۵۰% Urea and Nitrokara, and spraying Salicylic acid improved the selected morphological traits consequently grain yield per unit area under favorable and limited irrigations.
