Abstract:

The purpose of this papers is to show that change in curriculum is necessity in virtual universities.Quality, cost and productivity as three main factors always have been of special interest to universities and higher education institutions, but quality has received more serious attention than the other two factors. Because it is believed that cost and productivity are somehow affected by the quality factor, if quality improves, costs decrease and productivity increases, then to increase the quality we should attention to curriculum. All higher education institutions are under pressure to provide favorable answers to social needs. Along with the changes, the students' curriculum in the university should be designed and created in accordance with the structure and features of virtual education. Therefore, in addition to recognizing the features of virtual education, we should also pay attention to the patterns, models and methods so that curricula can be reviewed and evaluated. It should be noted that traditional universitieshave to adapt to new developments and changes. In the new environment, the role of coaches and professors will change. They will mostly play the role of facilitator and educator or educational designers. Therefore, it is necessary to change or design and launch appropriate curriculum, and educational systems.
