Abstract:

One of the most influential climate changes is the increase in the temperature of the earth, which it is caused heat stress in the herd with the increase of livestock and the intensification of agriculture. Welfare refers to a state of complete mental and physical health in which the animal has complete and necessary harmony with its environment. The effect of global warming on animals, their health, and well-being is to modify and revise the way animals are kept in many parts of the world. Climate change, global warming, and its consequences are closely related to the production, reproduction, welfare, and health of cows. defects in metabolic processes and body temperature regulation directly affect behavior and physiology, which will lead to stress in animals. Long-term heat stress is one of the factors that reduce the quality of milk and the reproduction of dairy cows, which significantly affects the profitability of livestock farming. it is important to consider that Understanding livestock behavior plays a significant role to avoid inappropriate welfare conditions such as management practices that lead to stress in livestock.
