The Effect of Age on Second Language Acquisition andAcquiring Native Like Accent

The current study is examining the effect of age on second language acquisition and acquiringnative like accent. In this study, opinions of two groups are analyzed about this topic. First groupbelieves that age is an important element for learning a language and acquiring native-like accent.Second group believes that age is not a substantial factor in learning. Collaboration andneurological factors play an important role in learning a language. Input, psychological affective,and contextual factors are necessary for acquiring a native like accent.
