Abstract:

High-order harmonics generation of atomic and molecular gases can give the production of high energy photons. Obtaining similar efficient photon energy from solid state systems can take steps to more compact UV sources. High harmonic generation (HHG) in monolayer boron nitride and gallium nitride by driving strong field laser is investigated by time-dependent density functional theory.
