Abstract:

Various criteria and methods can be considered for the design of marine vessels. In general, there is no direct relationship and a general principle between the main parameters and the geometric characteristics of the float. It should be said that the artificial neural network has been used to provide a model between these parameters and specifications. The presented model is created based on the complete database that should be available. In this research, three neural network models will be presented, which will be described using the main parameters of the floats, such as speed, displacement weight, and the dynamic response of the vertical motion of the float. Also, in the second model, parameters such as weight, speed, displacement, center of gravity, and the angle of the bottom, the length and width parameters of the float are presented. And in the last model, neural network with some main floating parameters, floating offset table and three floating views are also presented
