Abstract:

This study aimed to investigate implementing a computer-assisted teacher training course onEFL primary school teachers’ attitudes and perceptions. To conduct this study, the conveniencesampling method was run to select twenty female Iranian EFL teachers teaching English at aprimary school in Tehran. The data of this study were obtained through teachers’ attitudes andperception questionnaires. The questionnaires were distributed among them to elicit theirattitudes and perceptions. Then, the participants participated in ten virtual CTT sessions. Afterthe end of the CTT course, again, teachers’ attitudes and perception questionnaires weredistributed among the participants. Results showed that Iranian EFL primary school teachers’attitudes towards the CTT course and their perspectives on their teaching practice had changedpositively after participating in the CTT course. The study findings may give EFL teachers,teacher education curriculum planners, teacher educators, and policymakers insights.
