Abstract:
Positive organizational behavior is one of the new concepts that has been considered in recent years. Managers should study the positive aspects of their employees instead of examining the negative ones and fixing them, which has been a common practice in most organizations. Job stress level of employees can be one of the factors that contributes to the emergence of positive organizational behavior. In this paper, the mediating role of job conscience over the impact of job stress on positive organizational behavior is studied. Four hypothesis are tested using path analysis and structural equation modeling in Smart PLS. The results show that at ۰.۰۵ level, there is a significant relationship between the job stress and job conscience; and, between the job conscience and positive organizational behavior. Although, there is a no significant relationship between the job stress and positive organizational behavior; there is a significant mediating role of job conscience between them.
