Abstract:

Today, renewable resources such as photovoltaics and wind farms are known as promising technologies of electricity production systems, regardless of the facilities in terms of scale, capacity and geographical location. For this reason, Distributed Generation (DG) units are used with the aim of increasing the penetration of renewable energy sources in various industrial applications in both islanded and grid-connected operation modes. In this research, a robust control method of sliding mode control is proposed to provide stable responses in a hybrid AC/DC microgrid connected to the grid under changes in load and parameters. In order to form the proposed control technique, resistances and injection reactances have been applied to the current of inverter components for DC/DC converters for hybrid fault dynamics under load variation conditions. The results indicated the proposed approach has more optimal results than the previous methods
