Abstract:

با توجه به شواهد موجود در مورد اثرات دوزبانگی بر رشد شناختی کودکان، مطالعه حاضر به بررسی پژوهشهایی میپردازد که با استفاده از روشهای رفتاری و تصویربرداری عصبی به بررسی تاثیر دوزبانگی بر شناخت در دوره بزرگسالی پرداختهاند. در نتیجه در اینمقاله سعی داریم مکانیزم های احتمالی این اثرات را بررسی کنیم. این تحقیق نشان می دهد که دوزبانگی، تا حدودی اثرات خاموشی در بزرگسالی دارد اما نقش برجستهتری در سنین بالاایفا میکند، یا به عبارتی محافظت در برابر زوال شناختی، که مفهومی است که تحت عنوان پسانداز شناختی مطرح شده است. شواهد اخیر در مورد این که دوزبانگی منجر به تاخیر درشروع علائم زوال عقل میگردد، در این مقاله مورد بحث واقع شده است. پسانداز شناختی، زمینه پژوهشی مهمی در زمینه جمعیت سالمند است، با توجه به تنوع زیاد قومیتها و افراد دوزبانه، احتمال این که دوزبانگی به پسانداز شناختی کمک کند، از اهمیت بسیار زیادی برخوردار است
