Abstract:
It is well accepted that normal somatic cells do not divideindefinitely in vitro. There is essential need for infinitesource of human cells and biological molecules forresearcher all over the country. Iranian Biological resourceCenter (IBRC) have established immoratalization of Bcells of Iranian ethnic groups. These individuals hevebeen interviewed for their ethnic origin to be the same for3 generations. So these sample are pure Iranian ethnicindividuals participating in production of Lymphoblastoidcells from periferal blood.Ficol histopack 1077 was used for isolation of PBMC. TheEBV-producing marmoset B-cell line (B95-8) was usedfor source of EBV. Introducing EBV to PBMC transformedLymphoblastoid cells could be observed within 4-8 weeksby clump formation in B cells.Besides, five viruses detecting, carried out for all samples.16 STR markers determined for each individual beforeand after immortalization process to verify the originalsample and prepare samples¢ profile. So far 16 sampleshave been transformed and immortalized successfully
