Abstract:
In this study the best gas injection rate and location for Azadegan oil field reservoir in order to increase the plateau period had been investigated. Our basis for comparison is length of plateau period. The more extended the plateau period the better the scenario. But what should be taken in to account is the cost of such operations (capital cost and cost for maintenance).This study results that the continous gas injection for this reservoir is not a prominent way for EOR, because of the economical aspect of the process.
