MULTIVARIABLE VOLTAGE CONTROL OF HYDROPOWER PLANTS

This paper presents a state space method for the stability study and the dynamic iiic behaviour analysis yialysis of' the hydro power plant (HPP) with multivariable voltage control The corresponding HPP mathematical model is formed in state space form by joining together the linearized models of the, HHP componets This model is applied to make an adequate computer program for the above analyses The suggested procedure is used for choosing the type of voltage regulator in HPP and adjusting voltage regulator parameters Performances of the HPP controlled with a multivariable voltage regulator are conpared with those of the same HPP controlled with a proportional one The results for HPP "Djerdap 1" are given
