Evaluation of organizational citizenship behavior and organizational justice understanding based on demographic characteristics abstract

Background: The main objective for the present research is to evaluate organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior perception of physical education teachers ofTehran province based on demographic attributes. Materials and Methods: For this, the number of 305 people was selected out of total 1275people in random sampling manner. To collect data, organizational justice standard questionnaire after Niehoff and Moorman (1993) and organizational citizenship behaviorquestionnaire after Organ (1988)were used whose stabilities were 0.75 and 0.78% respectively as per Cronbach’s alpha. Results and Discussions: Results showed that teachers organizational justice perception varied significantly in servicing history, education level and ages (p<0.01) but this was notcase for sexuality (p>0.05). There was significant difference between teachers organizationalcitizenship behavior average score in age (p<0.05). However, servicing history and education level did not varied significantly in sexuality (p>0.05).Conclusion: This study recommended for teachers who have positive or optimistic percept on work ambient, display more efficient behaviors, otherwise ignoring this causes destructive actions, frustration, absence and serves as a drawback against organizational targeting
