Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between leadership style and demographic variables with job motivation in employees of Hormozgan Education Organization. The study was descriptive and correlation type. The study population comprised all employees of Hormozgan Education Organization (283 persons) in 2014-2015 academic year. And total sample size this study was 163 persons that they were selected by stratified random method by Morgan s table. And for collecting data, leadership style questionnaire and job motivation questionnaire was used. To analyze data statistical methods such as Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis was used. The results showed: structure-oriented and self-management approaches of leadership have significant effect on employees’ motivation and none of the demographic variables have significant effect on employee motivation.
