Abstract:

The present study in order to survey the relationship between the meanings of education with perceivedstress was performed. The statistical society of this study covers all of the(Payam Noor and Azad Islami University student)who were studying between years (1392-1393) in Piranshahrtown.westAzarbayejan province fram Islamic republic of Iran.using stratified cluster sampling,a sample of the number of 322 Student were chosen. the method of the study was descriptive- correlation type. To collect data, thestudy employs the questionnaires of(The Meaning of Education (MOE) (Henderson-King and Smith 2006) , The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) Cohen et al. 1983). To analyze the study, the inferential statistics such as correlation coefficient, and multiple regression tests were used.The results and findings of the study indicate that: various Meaning of Education influences perceived stress.whileitseems the Student who has Positive perception of stress, had less perceived stress than those who had negative perception of stress and their attitude to The Meaning of Education were different,They were unable to perceivedstress. It is suggested that the Universities with Identification Meaning of Education framThe student point of view and knowing The values of this effective class in our society In other words, results indicated that mental stress had a positive significant relationship with problem-based, cognitive, and behavioral coping styles at p= 0.05. This suggested that as the mental stress increases, applying problem-based, cognitive, and behavioral coping styles will be enhanced. Since responses to stressful situations are learnable, to this end, by making students conscious of different kinds of coping mental stress, universities can modify inefficient styles, cultivate the effective styles, and help students when confronting mental stress.
