A new band pass incremental sigma-delta data converter with low oversampling ratio abstract
This letter describes a new band-pass incremental sigma-delta analog to digital data converter at low oversampling ratio for use in digital radio receivers for conversion of the intermediate frequency signal, so that a band pass incremental data converters can be constructed to perform analog-to-digital conversion for narrowband signals. Most of literatures to date only focus on the analysis of low-pass incremental modulators without extending to band-pass incremental systems. The advantage of this converter is high accuracy and low power consumption. The modulator operates at a 100 KHz in system level with an OSR of 14. Second and fourth order band-pass incremental sigma-delta A/D converters have been designed in system level in Matlab.
