Abstract:

Ventilation of the greenhouses is one of the important matters in gardening. The maximum crop response depend on the level of the balanced environmental parameters so the most important factor investigated is greenhouse cooling, heating and ventilation. In areas with high solar radiation and with high humidity, namely south of Iran, evaporative cooling is not useful for summer day. In Bandar-Abbas, the capital city of Hormozgan province, we have warm and humid climate as the maximum temperature in summer is 45°C and minimum temperature in winter is 17°C. Humidity is also high here in whole of the year. Present paper investigates and analyses the innovative greenhouse cooling system. Fan-pad evaporative cooling and GSHP which joints to the air heat exchanger, combine to cooling and dehumidification inlet air. The thermal modelling shows inlet temperature can conveniently decrease to 26 °C with this combination.
