Abstract:
In the present work nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HAp)/ Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) composite was synthesized. The n-HApCMC composite was tested for the adsorption of Chromium from aqueous solution and compared its removal capacity with nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HAp). Taguchi model indicated optimization conditions for Cr(III) adsorption by using n-HApCMC Nanocomposite were initial metal ion concentration 100 mg/L, pH=4 , temperature 30 ◦C, and contact time 90 min.
