Abstract:

In sandwich structures, face sheets are usually used to increase stiffness. Faces are also responsible for protecting the core. One of the conditions for selecting the layer is that they are resistant to impact and repel them before the effects of the impact reach the core. Nanocomposites are used as a layer because of their high stiffness in the sandwich structures. In this research, we have investigated carbon nanotubes as one of the most famous nanofillers in reinforcing structures. Also, in this article, we study different patterns of nanoparticle dispersion and their effect on the mechanical behaviors of the sandwich structures.
