Abstract:

The purpose of this study is identifying internal motivation in students on improving the learning process. Intrinsic motivation is a process that causes a specific behavior and continues it. Motivation is a multi-dimensional concept that is referred to as a temporary state and a process. And it includes the subjective feeling of wanting to change in oneself or in one's environment, as well as the willingness to act on it to facilitate learning. To understand motivation as the basis of active learning, the importance of creativity in learning should be emphasized. This creativity is expressed as a sense of inquiry, flexibility, discovery, dreaming and originality of learning. Intrinsically motivated learners have creativity along with risk-taking, flexibility and experimentation. Teachers increase creativity in students by motivating them to define and create opportunities to redefine problems. Several main theories of understanding motivation such as expectancy theory and cognitive evaluation are also mentioned. For academic success, it is necessary to adopt a new educational approach. The use of technology is an important source of motivation in learners. Creative educational approach can increase students' internal motivation and change their attitude and improve their knowledge
