RESEARCH REGARDING THE ACHIEVEMENT OF COMPACT 400 KV, DOUBLE-CIRCUIT TRANSMISSION LINES IN ROMANIA

In the last quarter of this century extra high-voltage power trans mission lines as a suitable alternative to ever increasing demand of electrical energy have bee developed but with great difficulties due to the ecological dispute. The idea of line compacting as a solution to the above Mentioned problem is subject bealt with in this paper and also reported the results of a new achievment of compact 400 KV double-circuit transmission line in Rumania. Among the other this paper also illustrates in detail some specifications regarding over voltage level, dielectric behaviour corona losses radio interferences and live line working possibility.
