HOURLY LOAD FORECASTING IN IRANIAN NATIONAL GRID USING DIFFERENT MATHEMATICAL MODELS abstract
In this paper an attempt has been to apply some well established technigue for hourly load forecasting in Iranian national grid for next 24 hours.
The mathematical techniques used in this article can be classified as , time series analysis exponential smoothing , stats spaceequations, kalman Filter method and expert system. Upon these five met~ thods a PC based , user friendly and highly interactive software is developed and est ethod for Iran is proposed. The main feature of this paper is to adopt the above algorithms to Islamic countries, which have two solar and lunar calenders.
