In this paper an attempt has been made to introduce an algorithm for load shedding minimization in electric power system after transmission line outages. Subsequent algorithm is also proposed for generation reallocation to meet minimized generation cost. Both algorithms are linear and would be optimized through well established linear programming technique called Simplex.
