OVERHEAD TRANSMISSION LINE'S STRUCTURE OPTIMIZATION AS A MEAN OF TRANSMISSION CAPABILITY INCREASING abstract
When subconductors number in a phase is relatively small it can be provided rather high effectiveness of conductors surface utilization with the bundel phase remaining the circular form and optimization of subconductors arrangement round the circle.
When there is a large number of subconductors the high effectiveness of conductors surface is provided only with the arrengement of subconductor on the surface which differs from circular cylinder. In this case for supplying minimum permissible distance between phases it is necessary to limit the space, in which phases subconductors can be arranged. The difference of optimum bundle phase forms from circular is
not too large and for the structure of conductors suspension to the insulators strings can be used traditional solutions. The last fact allows to declare, that a line with optimized bundle phases can be realized in practice, because for the circular phases it was accumulated a rich practice of lines building and operating.
