INVESTIGA TION THE PROBLEM OF SOFTENER CLARIFIERS SLUDJE IN POWER - PLANTS AND CHANGE IT TO USEFUL PRODUCTIONS

The purpose of this research is to to investigate the problem of sludge produced by softener clarifiers, which eliminate the hardness and suspended solids of water simultaneously, in steam power plants. Daily production of such a huge amounts of sludge causes environmental pollution, so that it should be transfered out of power plant area. In this paper the methods of using the above mentioned sludge in different industries are studied. Hope that this research could reduce the environmental pollution besides the profit made for power plants and decrease the raw material consumption in other industries.
