ON-LINE ]IDENTIFICATION METHOD FOR LARGE SCALE POWER SYSTEM CONTROL

The paper is concerned with the problem of identification of the equivalent Model for the external subsystem of an interconnected power system It is proposed to follow a three step procedure In the first step the given voltage active and reactive power injection data are processed using of statistical filtering techniques in order to generate approximate values of fictitious nodes parameter of external power system . In the second step, these fictitious nodes parameters are then pro~ to indentify a simple state equivalent models for each external adjoining power system In the &W step, on the base, of identified equivalent on -line estimate of the power transfer limits of interconnected lines.
