OK., OK! , or Ok?

Once a word heard, the very concept of it is understood but studies in the domain ofsociolinguistics have shown that every word can have different meanings in different contexts.As have been noted, different elements such as tone of speaker, listener, and goal of speech canchange the intended meaning. In this paper, this phenomenon was sketched for a simple wordsuch as OK. This study would be as a bridge to the world behind the discourse markers andvocabularies used in the lexicon of a language.
