Abstract:
In this study nanocomposite nanoscale titanium–chromium mixed oxides Cr2O3/TiO2 were synthesized by a sol–gel method by using Cr(NO3)2.6H2O and Tetra Iso- Propyl Ortho Titanate (TPOT). The structural and the crystalline features of the samples were investigated with Fourier Transformer Infra-red, X-ray diffraction, Field-emission scattering electron microscope (FE-SEM). The results showed that a remarkable reduction in particle size from 47 to 22 nm for mixed oxides metal (Cr2O3, TiO2 and Cr2O3/TiO2) and uniform distribution size of nanoparticles
