Abstract:
In this paper we propose an innovative to protect birds against wind turbines. We designed a UAV bionic bird, that help reducing damages by preventing birds from colliding with wind turbines. It can also act as wind farm monitoring. UAV bionic bird performance is that a smart central system equipment included bionic UAV, radars and thermal cameras that are connected to each other via communication in wind farm and the joint working to avoid a flock of birds from approaching the wind farm. This method is a new approach for nonlinear control of UAV and target state estimation methods because of fluctuating target behavior that has been used. The nonlinear control and target estimation is divided into two parts, target trajectory and target tracking. This scheme is combination of Firefly Algorithm and Shuffled Frog Leaping Algorithm named FA-SFLA. This proposed scheme showed that our combination is effective to target state estimation. Several scenarios are proposed for a specific bird and results are evaluated in MATLAB software.
