Abstract:

In today’s world due to the fast-growing technologies and industries, natural fossil fuels are in danger of depletion. However, our world has experienced severe pollution due to the widespread use of fossil fuels. Therefore, using environmentallyfriendly and reasonable-priced substitutes seems like a wisenotion. Compared with fossil fuels, biodiesels are more affordable and more environmentally friendly, making them an excellent source of renewable energy. The use of nanotechnology in biofuel production is gaining popularity among researchers owing to nanoparticles' exquisite properties, such as high surface-tovolume ratios, resulting in high surface activity. The purpose of this paper is to review the studies conducted on the effect of various nanocatalysts on biodiesel production.
