Using the Support System and Information in Optimization of Construction Management

Application of collected information in decision-making processes is often problematic due to inconsistency and completeness of infrastructure data. In addition, most of the techniques involved in decision-making processes are relatively complex and difficult to implement without a certain level of engineering experience and training. Therefore, the sharing and transfer of relevant information among stakeholders is not smooth and often limited. The present study proposes a decision support system (DSS) for wastewater infrastructure management using data warehousing technology. The proposed decision support system automatically assigns appropriate inspection and renovation methods to each pipeline and estimates the related costs, the result of which is effective and practical management of sewage infrastructure from different perspectives with similar details.
