Effect of panel on the efficiency of solar water heating

This paper presents the efficiency of mechanism, Advantages and disadvantage between of different types of existent solar water heaters. The solar collector considered in this study is solar water heater system has been used panel consists of a header and a series of tubes and panel is made a large block of insulation at the back, with a series of S- shaped copper tubes running on top. a model for the collectors is proposed and experimentally validated under various operating conditions. The solar fraction and the overall efficiency of the solar plant are calculated for this period and the potential of the vacuum tube collectors is evaluated for application to the desiccant cooling process. Final results are presented in graphical form. Physical trends of the obtained results are discussed.
