Standardization or Selection The Optimum Size/s of Units Which are going to be Installed in New Power Station

This article deals with the advantage and disadvantage of standardization of the size of new units. Obviously the efficiency as well as the cost (investment & operation costs) of the unit/s will be decreased if the capacity of the unit increase. Beside to that there are some other advantage in selection the bigger units , but as we will find in the article these factors are not valid in Iran. So as a resault we should select the size of new units case by case and not limit our choise, and having this fact in our mind that there are some small units more efficient and also cheaper than some big ones in Iran.
