Calculating the effective height of boilers stack in power station from environmental poiution point of view

Today protecting of environmental Is of main concern Power station could be one of the sources that polute the environmental . This polution can cause irreversible effect on air , land and water. in this article the motion and distribution of flue gas plurne comming out of boiler stack has been investIgated In this article computer program based on mathematical model has been developed and pros~ to determine effective height of boiler stack for reducing of air polution resulted from combustion of heavy fuel oil in boiler furnaceThe mentioned program has been applied to an existing power station designed & installed by Russian in Iran . The output data and calculated effective height Of stack for Various mode of operation and condition has been discused.
