NECESSITY OF ANALIZING GENERATOR FROM THE POINT MACHINE BEHAVIOR IN ORDER TO SELECT BEST LOSS OF FIELD PROTECTION

To Adapt an advanced protection for Generators against any distractive phenomena it is nesseccery that _generator behavior to be a.nalyzed from machinery point of view so that knowing the physical nature of every phenomena , accordingly selecting best protection for generator. Through studies of Asynchronous turbogenerator theory (syrchronous generator which its excitation is lossed) and then using this theory and with drown modles , a soft ware was written which when standard parameters are given t.0 it would demonstrate behavior of generator after loss of excitation like , slip, Asynchron active power Asynchron reactive power , voltage, rotor heat loss so that enabling together with machinery study of the phenomenon to obtain critical points of the machine and therefore choose the relative setting so that if in any case there is a loss of excitation it could be detected at once.
