HF Detailed Model of Transformer Winding based on Frequency Domain Measurements abstract
This paper presents an approach for modelling transformer windings, valid in the frequency range of 1.0kHZ to a few hundred kHz. The model is a Detailed Model, the parameters of which are estimated based on frequency domain measurements.
The technique of modelling is applied to a high voltage transformer winding. The frequency domain simulation of the resulted model with EMTP confirms the validity and accuracy of the model for the frequency range of interest.
