AHP methodology for assessment of electricity supply chain network using SWOT approach abstract
A supply chain is the network of all the individuals, organizations, resources, activities and technology involved in the creation and sale of a product, from the delivery of source materials from the supplier to the manufacturer, through to its eventual delivery to the end user. In this paper, strategicanalyzing of electricity supply chain is discussed. For this reason, we may consider the electronic power supply chain network to have four stages: electricitygeneration, electricity transmission, electricity distribution and electricity consumption. This analysis in two forms of chain external and internal will beproposed. In internal evaluation one supply chain or organization with internal condition is discussed. However external evaluation of supply chain ororganization emphasize on factors that are not related to the external management or organization. In this paper, strength and weakness factors related to internal chainand opportunities and threats related to external chain, is recognized and validated. In this part of research fordefining factors and validating them information gathering is in the form of expert questionnaire and expert interviewing. Then, for defining final weights ofSWOT factors and final prioritizing for determining strategy plan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology was used for SWOT prioritizing in the case of electricity supply chain in Iran (The north-west of Iran).
