Reduction of fossil fuel consumption by utilizing Iranian Wind Tower (Bâdgir) abstract

These days, variety methods for cooling are used such as chiller, evaporative cooler and so on. There are lots of electricity power plants around the world that arepreparing power for cities and buildings by utilizing fossil fuels and nuclear fuels, the result of this process is just consumption of fossil fuel reserves as well as thepollution. In this paper, we offer using Tower Wind (Bâdgir) in the modern buildings with respect to reduce air pollutionand fossil fuel consumption. We try to show a progressive system of optimization of fuel consumption by considering the Tower Wind (Bâdgir) of Iran'sarchitecture as automatic cooler. As a result, we have defined that one of the most important methods in decreasing fossil fuel consumption is using traditional ways such as Tower Wind (Bâdgir).
