Abstract:
In a designated verifier proxy signature scheme, signature is issued for a specific receiver and only he/she can check the validity of the signature. Proxy signatures have important applications in Electronic commerce, specifically in Electronic cheques. In this paper, we provide a practical scenario which uses a new secure proxy signature scheme for Electronic cheques. Our scheme is a designated verifier proxy signature scheme with fast revocation possibility. In fact, this means that the Electronic cheque is only verifiable by a specified bank and also on the other hand, anytime the cheque owner wants can disqualify the capability of cheques signing from his/her agent whom called proxy signer. Proxy signature used in this paper has provable security in the standard model and satisfies all other security requirements of a proxy signature.
