Islamic Architecture Potential In Increasing the Efficiency of Solar Cells abstract
In recent years, using solar cells is an important way in using renewable energies in the developed nations. Direct conversion of solar energy to electrical energycalled photovoltaic (PV). Nowadays use of PV cells in the buildings as facades has been increased. In this article authors have been expressed mathematical equation of power absorption by tilted PV surface. Then the photovoltaic cells installation on architectural elements (especially dome) from the standpoint of maximum absorption of solar radiation has been investigated.
